A traditionally-made wallcovering with hand-folded paper as an eyecatcher. The paper is patinated with metallic ink and cut into small strips. These strips are woven with a hand loom. So there is no repeated pattern, making every piece genuinely unique. Nánar um Papyrus

The Ruban design plays with different thicknesses. Narrow raffia strips are glued by hand to a non-woven backing, which in turn is cut into wider strips. These strips are woven into a whole using an ultra-fine thread, ensuring a successful interplay of narrow and wide. Nánar um Ruban

Éclat – French for shine – proudly boasts a large block pattern. A thin layer of real cork gives this design a sturdy look, softened by the subtle sheen that shimmers through the cork here and there. Nánar um Eclat

Infini consists of a combination of paper thread and banana leaf, a natural material that is woven and dyed by hand. The fibres absorb the dye unevenly during this process, an effect specific to this natural product. The result is a textile with many different shades and a lively effect on the wall. The small

With Uno, broad strips of jute are adhered together, with the result that the edges overlap. This creates a beautiful, subtle effect, and leaves this design just shy of smooth. Uno stands out in its simplicity, whilst the woven pattern creates an authentic, natural look & feel. Nánar um Uno

Scope is a plain wallcovering inspired by a steppe, a treeless, vast landscape mostly of grasses. The woven finish gives Scope a soft look, making it a very versatile design. Nánar um Scope

This pattern consists, as it were, of woven mica. First, sheets are coloured with glued mica flakes. They are cut into very narrow strips, which are then woven with a conventional loom. The result is a wallcovering with the look of a very fine, gently glistening mosaic. Nánar um Shimmer

The basic material for this wallcovering is a tropical plant, the pandan. The fibres of this plant are interwoven by hand. This braiding is cut diagonally into strips, which are then woven. We drew the inspiration for this wallcovering from the growing trend of braiding in fashion and interior design. Nánar um Twill

An authentic double-weave jute. The jute strips are first dyed and then woven. This fabric is glued onto a shiny metal foil or a matt base, and then it is all cut into strips again. Finally, these strips are woven once again. Nánar um Fringe

Made from natural sisal fibres which are very finely woven. The woven sisal is then hand-pleated. Finally, we use the tipping technique, in which metallic ink is applied to the tips of the pleats. This yields a living, totally unique wallcovering, brimming with character. Nánar um Drift
